Safe-cycling students send out the right signals!
They say once you've learned to cycle, you never forget - and there is no doubt that it's a great way to travel and keep healthy throughout your life. Thanks to Head of PE, Mrs Robertson, another dimension has been added – staying safe whilst enjoying your cycling. She arranged for trainers from the cycling consultancy 'Bikeright', who have bases in Liverpool, Manchester and Newcastle, to come into school and work with some of our keen cyclists.
New Head Girl announced
Our new Head Girl for the coming year is Alice Hough, who was appointed last week.
Alice (centre) is pictured here with her two Deputy Head Girls, Hannah Kowalski and Molly Charlesworth. Many congratulations to you each of you!
PM11: An Installation with Inspiration
SAICA approached Mrs Julie Dodd, our Art technician here at Prenton, to work with them and then to produce an installation for their new offices. It was a wonderful acknowledgement of her installation-work to date - readers may recall her 'Wenlock' and Mandeville' Olympic 2012 mascots around London, her rhinos in Chester and penguins in Liverpool!
